LLan travelled down to Newtown in Saturday hoping they could carry their un-beaten league run on into 2017. In an end to end first half both sides struggled to gain a foothold on the game. LLan threatened with powerful running from wing Ciron Davies and fullback James Claybrook but they couldn't quite breech the Newtown line. The pack were having a battle with the homeside in the set piece and second row Dan Davies who was starting his first game of the season was leading the way with some powerful running and great support play. The only scores in the half were two penalties for Newtown.....
